Very public dish of Japan

Maybe Ramen is well known as a Japanese dish in your country. But originally this dish was created in China a long time ago.

When I was younger, we called it “Chuka-soba” in Japan. Chuka- soba means Chinese noodle in Japanese. This noodle in this picture is just really called Chuka-soba. I often eat this at a public restaurant nearby. One old master and his fellows are operating this restaurant. It’s simple and popular in this town.

These are standard ingredients. Noodles, green onions, char siu, kamaboko and menma. Have you heard of a food called menma? Menma is made from bamboo, it’s bamboo pickles. Japanese people like to eat bamboo, just like Panda. hahaha

Ramen is a very public dish, so every Japanese person likes ramen. Do you have the same kind of dish in your country?
