So you need to avoid this kind of week, to travel in Japan comfortably. I would like to advise you not to board very crowded trains here. You should not visit Japan these weeks below.

Japanese people take vacations these weeks, so Shinkansen trains will be filled with passengers. Additionally the hotel fee will get very expensive anywhere in Japan. Also the highways are very crowded. However, it will be okay if you avoid these weeks. Welcome to Japan this year!
