Japan was a country like North Korea or Russia, before I was born

I’m not sure if you have an interest in this kind of story. I was born in 1964 and Japan was a country like North Korea or Russia about 20 years ago before I was born. 

Japan was invading Korea, China, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, the Malay peninsula and so on back then. All of those activities of this nation were wrong, in many senses.

However, my grandparents and parents didn’t know that Japan was invading those countries during the war. They were educated that Japan was fighting for the people in those countries. Everything was fake from the government.

Japan was defeated by the US, and many Japanese had to die in the war. However, I think, Japanese has noticed what is the correct way for ourselves, at that time. Therefore, Japan could have come to walk in a peaceful way after that, I can say. Peace is precious more than everything.

Even in any country, the government doesn't necessarily say the truth and the facts. So everybody needs to make an effort to know what the facts are. I think you need to know what the facts around you are, to live in peace.

You should distinguish between fake news and not, about the information you got. Always.
