DEEP JAPAN

Here in Japan, there is a great dog food called “Wan Churu”. Try to watch this video. One specialized company invented this food. I believe that every dog and cat would love this food. This is a tube type of instant food, that's why you can offer this to your beloved dog or cat very easily. Your dog and cat definitely love licking this food. As for my beloved dog Ryo, he could eat only this food when he had been weakened because of a heavy disease.  He passed away 4 years ago, but my memories of Ryo are forever.

Heavy snow fell this week. In front of my house, there were 20 centimeters of snow that day. When I got up in the morning, my city changed a white world. Some children were making snowmen but I did snow removal work on the street. And I looked at Google Maps, then almost all the roads around my city indicated the color of red. I mean, a huge traffic jam occurred here and there. So every worker was troubled by it. In Japan, there have been heavy snowfalls once per year. It could be caused by global warming. When it happens in a particular region, all vehicles have to stop on the road of the region for one or two days. This year's case occurred in my region. Oh my God. In my company, truck drivers were crying because they could not finish their work that day….

You may know a very famous town called Akihabara in Japan. The small shrine in this picture has its roots in Akihabara. In Akihabara, there is a big shrine where the God of fire is living. So this small shrine is a tiny branch shrine in my street. You can see a master of the shrine in front of that, and he is praying for peace in my street. And you can see some buildings behind the shrine, which are houses of residents in my street. Actually, this shrine is built on the water way, I don’t know the reason why. That thing is very rare in Japan. On January 8th, we had a very small annual festival in this place. About 20 neighbors were gathering in front of the shrine, to pray for God. The shrine master dedicated a short sentence called “Norito”, which are the celebration words for God. Because there were many fires in Japan before wartime, we have a tradition praying to the God of fire, to prevent fires.
